Forma boots generally follow everyday US sizing, but there are some important points to consider and most riders will need to size up.

All boot brands have some size variation, especially in US sizing as there is no official size standard that manufacturers can follow. Euro sizing, however is the most consistent standard worldwide, so if you know your EU size, that will always give you the best reference point.

Forma boots use a unisex fitment with larger sizes being the perfect mens fitment, and smaller sizes morphing down to a perfect women’s fitment.

Motorcycle boots are more rigid due to internal and external protective components. This construction design can make the boots feel smaller or tighter, even when the internal dimensions match your regular shoe size.
Where sneakers or soft shoes flex to adapt to wide/large volume feet, motorcycle boots do not have the same flexibility and many riders will need to size up with their boots. Additionally it's best to have a generous fit, to allow for feet swell on long rides.  Don’t be concerned about the extra length when sizing up; most size increases only add around ¼ inch in length.
Also note that motorcycle boots have a longer toe box for impact clearance, which can give the impression of narrowness even though the foot chamber the correct size. Additionally, all waterproof models have an internal membrane that reduces the foot chamber volume slightly giving them a smaller feel as well.

In most cases your motorcycle boots will need to be one size larger than your sneakers. 

Measuring your feet is the most accurate way to establish the correct size on the first attempt.

The best method:

1. Place your heel against a wall and measure out to the tip of your big toe.
2. Then add 1 inch to determine your ideal “inside boot” measurement.
   (For sizes under EU 41, add ¾ inch.)
